Abstract

Today digitalization is changing our world. Connected and intelligent devices generate massive amounts of data transforming life and business across all sectors. However, in most places, electric networks, water supply, roads, bridges, tunnels and sewers have hardly changed in nature. Especially in the industry, some digital systems have been incorporated but we are still in the initial phase of unlocking the potential of fully electrified, automated, digitized, intelligent infrastructure. Professional planning of digitalization and smartness will be key to building and maintaining resilient industrial infrastructure and achieve inclusive and sustainable industrial development. This paper describes the evaluation of an industrial network and focuses on the planning and simulation.
