Abstract

Wireless sensor networks used for infrastructure monitoring require special attention due to the energy constraints of the sensors, resulting in a limited system lifetime. A recently proposed clustering approach aims to reduce energy consumption. However, this one can lead to a decrease in the reliability of message delivery. In this article, we consider this issue.
