Abstract
Preparedness for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) started early in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia before the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a pandemic. In this article, we narratively describe critical care surge planning in Saudi Arabia from an organizational perspective.
