This study examined the Korean government's initial response to COVID-19 and the ongoing crisis management process through a 5-step information process. The five-step information process looks at (1) the process of gathering information about COVID-19. (2) Look through the process of analyzing the collected information. (3) The status of information sharing among the responding organizations was checked, and (4) Infectious disease information was investigated how transparent, accurate, and timely information was disclosed. (5) The government continuously updated information and looked for management measures. Abstract
