The significance and definition of product life-cycle management is proposed before analyzing the connection among three different stages in detail. Then a more vivid system diagram called product life-cycle management house is proposed and described specifically as the basis of building product life-cycle management system. The operating mechanism is also stated and four specific applications of product life-cycle management are presented. Abstract
