Abstract

This work introduces and describes the use of the parallel-connected Γ-Z-source power converters (ΓZSPCs) as a new interconnection method for the hybrid microgrids (HMGs) to enhance the reliability and the amount of power exchange between the AC and DC sub-grids. Then an adaptive gain-regulating-based (AGR) control strategy is proposed for the ΓZSPCs. To this end, the instantaneous average current sharing (IACS) strategy is adopted wherein the current controllers use the AGR.
