TOPICAL ECONOMIC AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT’ RESEARCH PROBLEMS IDENTIFICATION ACCORDING TO SCIENTI C PUBLICATIONS’ CONTENT ANALYSIS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the publication activity of scientists affiliated with scientific and educational institutions of China and India, as well as the comparison of their areas of interest with those in the publications of domestic authors. The data on the latest publications of authors from China, India and Russia are presented. The authors' thematic preferences are analyzed, on the basis of which the areas of economics and quality management that generate the greatest research activity are highlighted. A number of institutions where affiliated authors have several articles on the subject under consideration are identified. The information base of the research are the papers available in the ScienceDirect scientific publications system. The selection of topics was made on the basis of the of the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University’ Quality Management and Systems Department’ interest areas. The results of the conducted research can be used for possible cooperation and exchange of knowledge in the field of economics and quality management and are already being used by the administration of the LETI Quality Management and Systems Department to form a development strategy.
