New soft technologies in international outdoor lighting TALQ interface protocol

Abstract

It is difficult to combine different outdoor lighting systems to work together without international protocol. TALQ protocol is a newest important international protocol on outdoor lighting control. Most important famous companies are TALQ consortium members including Philiph, GE lighting, Osram etc in the world. The TALQ new technologies apparently become important in outdoor lighting control systems. Some new soft technologies including the events, function and service are important parts in TALQ protocol. This paper introduces these new soft technologies and their application to solve some key problems on outdoor lighting control. Then some cases are illustrated to describe the core technology and application, which is meaningful for the outdoor lighting systems.
