A partial square shape ground plane structure is used. The designed antenna geometry evoked frequency of operation between 3.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz. The proposed antenna is designed in a low profile FR4 substrate with overall antenna geometry is 28.5 mm x 23 mm. The antenna provides a gain of 2.7 dBi with a radiation efficiency of 97.7 percent. Abstract
