Abstract

The Ultra GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) method is one of the electromagnetic geophysical methods designed to detect objects buried in the ground and can be used to map subsurface conditions without drilling or digging the ground. This method uses the principle of wave propagation from transmitter to receiver. The ultra GPR data collection is done on peatland in Siak Regency, Riau Province. The results of the radargram show a clear boundary between the peat and the underlying mineral layer, this is demonstrated by clear and continuous contrast.
