Abstract

Resource allocation issues are considered in this paper for multiuser orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA). This paper proposes a sub channel and power-allocation algorithms to provide the quality-of-service (QoS) requirements for each user. The resource allocation problems are non-convex, Because of their non-convex nature, there is no guarantee that solution obtained is to be optimal. Hence Proper allocation of bandwidth and power is necessary for ensuring the utilization and optimal performance of the resources in the OFDMA networks. Convex optimization tools are used to decrease the computational complexity.
