Optimizing Packet Transmission Mechanism with Multipath Technologies

Abstract

Using multipath technologies allow to aggregate bandwidth of multiple communication channels, and thus the data transfer speed can be higher than with the usage of a single channel. In order to improve the quality of service, it is needed to minimize time for packet transmission over the multiple paths. The purpose of present paper is to propose an approach to optimize waiting time of packets for multipath technologies, and to investigate its corresponding packet transmission mechanism.
