Status and Improvement of Declarations of Origin after FTA Expansion

Abstract

Purpose : This study aims to examine the status and improvement plan of issuance for declaration of origin following expansion of FTA. Research design, data and methodology : This study analyzes related literature reviews. Results : It is necessary to improve the issuance method for declaration of origin, which is appropriate to be issued by a licensed customs agent. In obtaining a declaration of origin, it is also necessary to establish an automatic linkage system with the certificate of origin issuing agency to promote a unified administrative system. Finally, free online education should also be expanded to facilitate regulations and applications throughout the country of origin. Conclusions : When these all systems are fully utilized, export companies will be guaranteed work efficiency as a force behind trade, and unnecessary disputes with related agencies will be reduced.
