Determinação da Eficiência de Reuso de Freq üência de um Sistema DS - CDMA através de Modelos de Radiopropagação

Abstract

 Lately it was observed a growing interest in the use of direct-sequence code division multiple access technique (DS-CDMA) for cellular mobile systems. The capacity of a CDMA system is directly related to the frequency reuse efficiency (F). Furthermore, the factor F determination by models, that assume a simple exponential law to find the pathloss, can generate inexact values for the capacity. This work considers the use of empirical and theoretical radio propagation models to estimate the frequency reuse efficiency and to analyze the influence of their parameters on the system capacity.
