Tasks for the development of the Northern Sea Route as an integral part of the Integrated Transport System of the Arctic Zone of Russia

Abstract

For the first time, an expanded schematic diagram of the integrated transport system of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation was presented. A description of the cargo traffic developed in 2021 in the waters of the Northern Sea Route is given. For the first time, the content of the concept of “transit transportation” in relation to the water area of the Northern Sea Route was determined. The risks of the development of transportation along the Northern Sea Route were considered.
