SOME ASPECTS OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE FILM INDUSTRY ON THE PROMOTION OF SAME-SEX RELATIONSHIPS

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the impact of the film industry on the formation of ideas of modern society about same-sex relationships. The object of the study is Western cinema. The subject of the study is the influence of Western cinema on the representation of Russian youth about same-sex relationships. To determine what influence Western cinema had on the representation of modern Russian youth about same-sex relationships, the authors conducted a sociological study, presenting three hypotheses. The result of the sociological survey is presented in this article.
