This article describes a rock shelter with a comparatively recent ‘Late Stone Age’ occupation, with a certain amount of pottery in the upper levels. Dr. Posnansky was Assistant Director of the Institute when the field work was carried out; he is now Professor of Archaeology in the University of Ghana.
