Abstract

The analysis for a coaxial-line to rectangular waveguide probe transition for the case where the probe is dielectrically sheathed is presented along with experimental verification. The analysis is then used to investigate the design of such junctions, with particular emphasis on maximising the bandwidth. INTRODUCI'ION
