Abstract

Based on sequential Monte Carlo method, the reliability evaluation of power systems with energy storage and wind power was carried out. The wind storage system was connected to IEEE-RBTS system for simulation, and the corresponding program was written with Matlab to calculate the reliability index reflecting the reliability level of the whole system. The specific influence of wind farm, energy storage system, energy storage capacity and maximum charge-discharge power of energy storage on the reliability of the system was discussed.
