HTML5, CSS3 and JQuery mobile for intelligent home control

Abstract

Web pattern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JQueryMobile have been used to develop web applications in different scenarios. As a use case, these technologies are being exploited in order to develop domotics systems. In the past, automatic environments were limited to big industries. Nowadays this scenario is rapidly changing. Home Control System (HCS) are became frequent and part of modern home. HCS' users are looking for quality of life and sustainability. Our work present and discuss the following items: 1) Development of human computer interface to HCS using some web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and JQueryMobile; and 2) Concepts and components of HCS; 3) Examples of HCS and Primary Health System (PHS); and 4) Use Cases.
