An Infrastructure for Wearable Environments Acquisition and Representation

Abstract

In this paper, the WEAR-IT framework is presented. It has been developed to provide Android applications with an effective set of primitives to interface with different kinds of wearable devices. The paper presents both architectural and practical features of WEAR-IT, through a case study from the e-Health domain.
