Cellulose - Geopolymer sandwich thermal shield for automobiles – A review

Abstract

Manufacturing industry is facing problem with selection of proper materials for automotive applications. In this review, a new material geopolymer introduced and compared with other materials. This material had few advantages like lightweight material, which has capacity to replace materials like Ordinary Portland Cements (OPC). Geopolymer material can withstand heavy impact loads and high compression strength. In this review an overview of sandwich materials over the composite materials has been reviewed.
