The Necessity of Decentralized Aircraft Power Distribution System Implementation

Abstract

The article deals with the concept of decentralized power distribution system and compares it with traditional power distribution system. It explains why such a system could not be used on previous aircraft generation in the past, what enables the use of the system in the next generation of aircraft and also presents the advantages and disadvantages of this system. The paper also deals with different possible solutions of new system implementation.
