For each mix standard sizes of cubes, cylinders and prisms as per Indian Standards were cast and tested for compressive strength, split tensile strength and flexural strength at the age of 28 days. The addition of silica fume shows early strength gaining property and that of glass fibre control the cracking due to shrinkage. Abstract

This paper presents the effect of silica fume and glass fibre in High Performance Concrete (HPC).
