Abstract

Laser processing results are predictable in case of uniform structure of the material. Any inhomogeneity may lead to largescale deformations. There must be a real-time instrument to control the behavior of the material in harsh environment (particle clouds, plasma, gas flows, etc). Imaging in millimeter wave range has been studied as the possible way to solve the problem.
