This paper dives into the role Hydrogen can play as an actor in maritime decarbonization. The value chain of hydrogen from production to utilization is discussed and its corresponding lifecycle emissions for liquefied hydrogen from fossil-based and renewable energy feedstock for a harbor craft use case scenario is illustrated.
