Experimental Validation of a Wind Turbine

Abstract

This document is an overview of the thesis with the same title. The work related to this document centers in a prototype vertical axis wind turbine and the implementation and testing of a developed fractional controller. Models and controllers are revalidated or created using newly gathered data sets, whose performance are studied and later implemented and tested through existing hardware components.
