Abstract

In this study, an observer based on the theory of LPV systems is proposed to improve the performance of the fluxoriented vector control structure for the induction motor. Therefore, the dynamics of the motor are strongly influenced by the speed, stator and rotor resistances. This approach with polytopic modeling allows to take into account the parameters variation. The observer is also synthesized via an optimization of the L2 gain under linear matrix inequality constraint and Hinfinity standard problem synthesis. The simulation results prove both the quadratic stability and the robustness of the proposed approach.
