Ineffective solutions of two-person sequential non-cooperative games

Abstract

The paper illustrates three main reasons of obtaining ineffective solutions in two-person games: unfavourable structure of the payoff matrix and ineffective strategies of the first and the last mover. It was discussed how an intervention of a third side can help in obtaining effective results.
