Abstract

Edge computing promises to bring computation and storage close to end-users, opening exciting new areas of improvement for applications with a high level of interactivity and requiring low latency. However, these improvements require careful scheduling of applications in the correct Edge resource. This decision is generally taken by considering multiple parameters, including the network capabilities. In this paper, we discuss an approach that measures latency and bandwidth between multiple clients and Edge servers.
