Abstract
Design and the performance of high-efficiency transmission gratings embedded in fused silica for a femto-second laser system at a wavelength of 1040nm is described in this paper. When the density and depth of the grating are 1200lines/mm and 1.55um respectively, the -1st order diffraction efficiency in excess of 97% for TE polarization is achieved in Littrow conditions.
