Abstract

In recent years, Metamaterials are widely developed. Especially, EBG and AMC are often utilized to antenna engineering. EBG and AMC are called as Meta-surface because these materials are thin structure. In order to design Meta-surface, Numerical analysis method such as an FDTD method is used. However, calculation cost of the FDTD method becomes large due to the complex structure of Meta-surface. In this research, we will indicate an effective modeling method. The method introduces surface impedance condition to model Meta-surface.
