Abstract

In this paper, a remote visual analysis platform for ad hoc networks was designed. This platform uses a client/server model to achieve wireless routing protocol performance analysis and test. In this platform, the client is implemented by Qt GUI Application, with NS2 as a background server computing platform. Through using remote communication mechanism of Qt Socket, the client and the server are connected remotely. It can realize a remote visual analysis for wireless ad hoc network latency, packet loss, and throughput and simplify the complex process of simulation.
