TECHNOLOGY OF DIGITIZATION OF A LIBRARY СOLLECTION ON THE EXAMPLE OF CSAL

Abstract

The article discusses the processes of digitization of a library collection, the necessary equipment and software. The necessity of pagination for the reader's convenience is justified. It is concluded that a presentable visual look of the resulting electronic document should be maintained. The practical steps of scanning and subsequent software processing of a file for further creation of an electronic document and replenishment of the electronic library are described.
