Abstract

The security issue of using waste for the production of metallic silicon — silicon dust, ultra-fine material obtained in the process of gas purification furnaces, is interdisciplinary problem, because the resulting modifier is used in many industries. The use of silica dust also has broad opportunities to improve the strength properties of construction materials, in this regard, one of the most important issues is the safety of people who produce and use this material as a modifier, and a comprehensive analysis of the impact on human health of silica dust will unambiguously answer the question of the appropriateness of its use.
