Abstract

This paper attempts to highlight quantitatively and qualitatively the growth and development of world literature on materials chemistry in terms of journal papers and citations as per Scopus database. A total of 67,375 papers and 493,098 citations received to these papers were downloaded from Scopus database for the period 2008-2012.
