Abstract

The paper deals with the automated and container-ized deployment of the Cloud Computing platform, which is most of the time large distributed system consisting of many servers. In this environment, manual deployment by system administrators is not scalable and introduces issues by repetitive tasks on many different servers. In several chapters the paper introduces the StarlingX platform, its architecture, the terminology used in documentation and several deployment types. Last but not least, our test deployment on multiple available servers available for our department is described.
