These games have traditionally taken place in face-to-face classes, however, in light of Covid-19, much teaching for the forthcoming academic year will be delivered remotely. We believe that in this teaching environment, the benefits of using games will only increase. Therefore, this chapter provides insights into how it is still possible to use games with remote online delivery. We distinguish between synchronous delivery where delivery is live and interactive and asynchronous delivery where students undertake learning activities flexibly at their chosen time.
