The 10dB bandwidth of the filter is 3.78GHz. The filter proposed is designed in a spinal shape with six side ribs. The antenna has a gain of 4.86dB at 21.8GHz and 5.74dB at 23.68Hz. Integrating a filter with SIW horn antenna is key technology for reducing the lumped circuit element. Hence the proposed structure is miniaturized version of the front element of communication system i.e. antenna and the signal processing elements like filters. Abstract

The paper presents a detailed over view of an H-plane Substrate Integrated Waveguide Horn antenna integrated with bandpass filter.
