Software Developers Sentiment Analysis: A Systematic Mapping

Abstract

Sentiment Analysis is a research area that has been also focused on software developers in the latest years. However, there is a need to map the way in which this area is structured. The goal of this article is to answer research questions through a systematic mapping in order to be aware of the existing works in this area. As a result, a growth curve related to the number of publications has been perceived as well as the association between the emotional condition of a developer and his/her performance in software projects.
