Abstract

Near-zero refractive index metamaterials composed of epsilon near zero and mu near zero media constructed by cross and square loop structure, respectively, are proposed. The simulation results have shown that the designed metamaterials can generate a low loss transmission with a refractive index near zero at the operating frequency.
