A novel approach has been adopted by employing Soar (a general cognitive architecture and AI engine) as a dedicated element for controlling the functionality of the system. The framework also focuses on providing standardized and generic interfaces for software components as well as physical links for hardware interconnection. The framework is made extendible, scalable and compatible with multiple platforms and services for supporting applications of variant magnitudes and scope. Abstract
