We specify some benchmarks for the efficiency of the management of extracurricular education as a subsystem of general education, we propose a set of factors that underpin the management of extracurricular education: legislation and sectoral/ intersectoral policies; concepts, methodologies, studies on extracurricular education; students, parents, the request, expressed through their needs, wishes, interests; partners from the community, at national and international level, APL, NGO; the specific categories of the management process. Abstract
