Abstract
In this research, the author create the application to calculate the Margin of satellites communication forsatellite coordination purpose. Margin is one of the indicator that determines whether the satellite communication system that we observe have destructive interference occurs or is free from interference. If there is interference in excess of the exposure limit, then the satellite operator must coordinate with the affected satellite operator [1]. Margin itself is calculated between the earth station transmitters, satellite and the earth station receiver. Differences cases that occur in satellite communication systems, such as differences in carrier, frequency, and communication areas, is affecting the calculations performed. In fact the number of satellites and earth stations very much, and the case is very varied so there arose the need to create applications that can facilitate the calculation of margin and can cover a lot of cases. World development of the internet makes the writer chooses to create Web-based applications using HTML, PHP and JS so that users can use the application without the need to install software first on their computers. Furthermore, the author also analysze a mitigation technique to anticipate such interference in a satellite communication system. However, these mitigation techniques only in terms of the calculations, does not involve cost that need to be spent or government regulations that limit the mitigation.
