System performance evaluation has been provided in the presence of narrow band interference, inter-symbol/inter-channel interference, or frequency selective fading. BER performance of the IS-OFDM is compared with an equivalent ordinary OFDM system. As shown, the IS-OFDM in a narrow band interference channel has a significant advantage over the ordinary OFDM which exhibits an error floor for every narrow band interference to signal ratio. Abstract
