Abstract
In the recent decade, smartphones have become ubiquitous in our everyday life. One primary usage of smart-phones is mobile payment. In this paper, an investigation has been carried out to study the positive factors that may influence the behavioural intention to use Mobile Wallets (M-Wallets) among young university students. This study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with two variables, which are promotional benefits and personal innovativeness. Responses of an online survey from 136 participants have been analysed. Positive factors that influence university students' intention to use M-Wallets include Personal Innovativeness, Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use.
