Eliminating Child Labour through Public–Private Partnership (PPP)

Abstract

The paper focuses on increasing attention on child labour in developing as well as in developed countries. A number of factors have contributed to this development which are discussed in view of perception that the exploitation of child labour has become more serious and could well continue to do so in several parts of the world: employment of children at an age and under conditions that do not conform to universally accepted standards, rights of children in particular in many countries. It gives an overview of the major approaches of practical action in the struggle against child labour.
