This proposed antenna finds application in the wireless devices and biomedical based instruments. Abstract

A coplanar waveguide fed with defected ground plane structure and bud shape wearable antenna for on-body communication is proposed in this paper. It has an operating frequency of 4.45 GHz in UWB band, making its performance considerably robust when applied to different human beings where frequency shift will take place.
