Abstract
The industrial method for the synthesis of cresols is technologically complicated, since the synthesis is carried out in an environment of sulfuric acid. Such a strong aggressive environment requires the use of anti-corrosion, expensive equipment, and the process itself creates the possibility of the formation of acidic wastewater [1].
