Abstract

The paper deals with a rectangular microstrip patch antenna radiator. Experimental results of an investigation of near-field space distribution for this radiator in the 10 GHz band are presented. The peculiarities of the electric field component due to the frequency variations are described. It is shown that the vibrating string can be used as a test perturbation body for near-field measurements of a microwave radiator.
